In this Lord’s Day’s message, Pastor Rich Malcolm drew attention to the reaction of the crowd to the miracle of healing they had just witnessed. Their amazement was directed at Peter but Peter redirected their attention toward Jesus. Pastor Rich pointed out that many times “people seem to rally around people rather than Jesus”. But there are no Christian superstars and we should only marvel at the genuine miracle worker, Jesus.

In focusing our attention on Jesus, Peter referred to Him by several different names such as “The Servant”, “Jesus”, “Holy and Righteous One”, and “The Author of Life”. Pastor Rich explained the meaning and significance of each term and how they help us as believers model our lives after Him.
