Pastor Rich Malcolm explores the meaning of the phrase “In His Name” and comes to a surprising conclusion that has the potential to alter our prayer life and our daily walk. When Peter says, “It is the name of Jesus which has strengthened this man,” he is not proposing a formula for healing. He is simply stating that it was Jesus’ will for the man to be healed. Our ignorance of God’s will, then, is the factor that contributes most to our faithless prayer lives.
