Well-known author and speaker Donald Whitney will be preaching at our Sunday morning service in Eagle Rock on August 20th. He is the author of "Spiritual Disciplines For The Christian Life" (NavPress 1991), "Spiritual Disciplines Within The Church" (NavPress 1996) "Ten Questions To Diagnose Your Spiritual Health" (NavPress 2001) and "Simplify Your Spiritual Life" (NavPress 2003). He has just recently finished a book entitled, "Family Worship" (Center For Biblical Spirituality 2006).
Don blessed us greatly by joining us at our family camp last year, where we got to know this dear brother in Christ. He currently serves as Associate Professor of Biblical Spirituality and Director of Applied Ministry at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville Kentucky.
