Our own Karen Long writes a book about Marriage

jslemmons — Wed, 14 Jun 2006 15:26:08 -0700

Karen Long, wife, mother of three, and a member here at Hope, has just published her first book, If You Don't Die to Self I May Have to Kill You! (Multnomah Publishers) a humorous, honest and often blunt look at the life of a marriage on the brink of disaster. She chronicles her journey from celebrity to mommy in the midst of a bitter marriage; however, with the help of friends, counsellors and years of trial and error, they made the change from portraying a godly union to actually seeking a God honoring relationship. She lays before the reader a raw picture of a marriage that, but by the grace of God, might have ended in homicide, but by His redeeming power and love has become greater than she ever imagined.
