Hope Bible Church, in the providence of God, no longer has a ministry where saints gather to worship our glorious triune God. However, the preaching ministry of Pastor Richard Malcolm and Pastor Chris Oliveri, who were the preaching pastors during the church-ministry years of 1992-2008, are archived here, along with some guest speakers. This archive consists only of the latter years of the church’s ministry, since during the early years the preaching was only recorded on cassette tape.

As you listen to these messages, we pray that, because of the wonders of the gospel, the Lord might fill your heart with love for Him, so that you might worship and serve Him, wherever He leads and uses you.

However, as you listen, if you discover that you have never given your life to Jesus Christ, as your Lord and Savior, and desire to do so, all you need to do is: 1) repent of your sins (that is, turn from your sinful way of life), and 2) turn to Jesus to save you (that is, trust Him that on the cross by His death, He did all that was necessary for your sins to be forgiven, so that you might be holy and blameless before God). Through this repentance and faith, you will be given a new standing with God (that is, you will now be righteous and beloved child of God). In addition, this salvation will create something new in you; it will create a desire to surrender your will to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, since you have tasted of His goodness in this salvation. While salvation is a free gift granted to you by God, devotion to Him is the response of a grateful and new heart.

Notice that the Bible teaches in Ephesians 2:8-9 that salvation is a free gift: “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast.”

The Bible also promises in 1 John 1:9 that “if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

In addition, Romans 10:9-10 declares “that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.”

May the messages preached at this website direct you to faith in God’s Word and lead you to joy in Jesus, as you walk with Him and work for Him by the power of the Holy Spirit.

To God be the glory!
