The roles of children and grandparents are described at length in this third and final message on Wisdom and the Family. The Bible calls children to honor parents, by doing so they receive many spiritual and practical benefits. Grandparents are also given a strategic role in the lives of their grandchildren. They are not done passing on spiritual truth when their children grow up, leave home and have kids of their own. The Scriptures describe grandparents as ongoing investors in the lives of their grandchildren for ongoing spiritual growth.
