Romans 5:6-11 | The Deep Love of God (Part 1)

Summary: How can we really rest in the assurance that God loves us? In the previous passage Paul told us that believers receive an ever deepening apprehension and understanding of God’s love within their hearts through the Holy Spirit. In this section the Apostle Paul proceeds even further. He describes the beautiful gospel reality that the subjective experience of God’s love in our hearts is rooted in the objective demonstration of God’s love in history! This demonstration took place when Jesus gave up His life on Calvary for helpless, ungodly sinners.
