Summary: Have you ever cried out to the Lord, and waited intently for Him to answer your plea? When He answered your prayer, did you tell others about it? In this declarative praise psalm, David recounts that he waited intently for the Lord, screaming out that God would answer him. It is no small thing that the Lord of the universe would stoop down to hear his cry. (v.1) The intended result of David's praise for the Lord's deliverance is that many will come to faith in the Lord. (v.3) Dr. Allen points to David and this psalm, as an example of public praise.
